The tour was great. We visited the Pantheon of Heroes, Independence House Museum, the Cathedral, the old train station and museum (this was really cool!), and another museum about the city. We walked by the presidential palace and through several parks and neighborhoods, and were able to see some really cool murals. It was a great day. Tracy also gave me recommendations on places to go for dinner. I want to come back and go to the Jesuit ruins with them. I definitely recommend using this company!

I wanted to explore the Chaco, and Tracy shared with me the best it has to offer: historical sights of the war; Mennonite history and contemporary settlements; indigenous villages; stunning natural landscapes, from salt flats, to deep woods, to a nocturnal fauna drive; even a kids' boarding school I wouldn't have known to ask to visit. Everywhere, Tracy connected me with local guides who live in the communities they're eager to share. I met people, tried foods, and absorbed culture that will stay with me for a lifetime. Paraguay, especially in its farthest reaches, conceals a stunning diversity of wonders.

We were able to visit 8+ cities, learn about all of the different local art/handicrafts, try new foods, pick mangoes and more - all in one day! The guys were both super nice and fun and we enjoyed everything we saw and did. The van and AC were very comfortable on a blazing hot summer day. We definitely enjoyed both Manuel and Cesar's energy, upbeat/enthusiastic spirits, loads of information, patience and openness. Manuel and Cesar were brimming with information, which was great. We were grateful to Tracy for organizing and particularly enjoyed the churches. We really had a lovely day, and although we saw so much, it didn't feel rushed at all. We learned a lot about the region, enjoyed meeting some locals (who do very detailed, beautiful crafts and are rapidly disappearing with time) and being able to maximize our time with our guides. We never could have done this tour on our own/would have missed out on so much. Highly recommend!

A fantastic tour of Asuncion and the Golden Circuit! The Asuncion portion included several photo opp stops as well as actual visits, such as the Independence House, Pantheon of Heroes, and Lady of Asuncion Church. Then it was off to our custom stops on the Golden Circuit – Aregua (where we bought yummy strawberries at the roadside from the hundred stalls that were selling them since it was the season, and visited the popular church on top of the hill plus the clay pottery artisans), San Bernardino (with its magnificent views of the Yparacai lake), Pirayu (with the train station and a model locomotive which was the last to operate in the country), Caacupe (the religious capital, with the image of the Lady of Caacupe), and Yaguaron, with the lavishly decorated church of St. Buenaventura that was entirely built by the Guaranis, encouraged by the Franciscans.
But what made the entire experience so informative and memorable was our fantastic tour guide. He was so articulate and incredibly well-informed, especially about the country’s history and guarani-influenced culture. He was a natural storyteller, including Guarani legends!

I went on a tour of Ybycui national park with Cesar and Manuel. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and fun and showed me a side of the park I would not have known how to find without them. I cannot recommend them enough!
